San Juan County Economic Mobility Study
RCC facilitated San Juan County’s initiative to improve employment and leadership diversity in government sector jobs, with a focus on creating career pathways for Native American youth in public service. Working directly with public sector employers, schools, and stakeholders, we developed strategies to address the gap between population demographics and workforce representation. Our comprehensive approach examined existing barriers to employment and leadership opportunities, resulting in actionable recommendations for increasing diversity in public service careers. The study’s findings and implementation strategies lay the groundwork for lasting change in workforce representation and community leadership, creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation of public servants.
