Centerfield – General Plan Update
Like many small cities, Centerfield was limited on time and resources. The city’s new administration asked Rural Community Consultants to untangle their building, subdivision, and land use ordinances and to articulate the community’s vision in an updated general plan. RCC expedited the project to get the city functional in half the time usually required for general plan updates. The new general plan includes a special section addressing water—a key issue to the agriculture-based area. The ordinances were brought up to code, with new sections drafted for immediate adoption by the City Council.
