Emery County Fire Plan (CWPP)

The Emery County Fire Protection Board coordinates all areas of the county.  When they wanted an experienced firm to help them put together a wildfire preparedness plan, they contracted with Rural Community Consultants.  They wanted to be sure that the project positioned them for both future catastrophic fires as well as all of the occurrence of the more common ones.  Particular issues that needed to be addressed included strategies that co and integration with their existing county resource management plan, and county commission involvement throughout the process.
