Hildale City – Land Use Code Update

Hildale city is a unique community looking to find its place in Washington County. The City had previously worked with Rural Community Consultants to produce a new general plan. It again partnered with RCC to adjust local ordinances to codify the community’s vision for future development. Issues of particular note for the City were using Community Reinvestment Agencies, Public Infrastructure Districts, Tax-Increment Financing, and other municipal tools available in Utah to incentivize economic investment. RCC provided advisement and resources on these issues, produced issue-based reports, and updated the city code.
