Lake Point City General Plan

Lake Point City, Utah’s newest municipality in 2023, represented an exciting addition to the portfolio of projects at Rural Community Consultants. Located in the gateway of a fast-growing region, Lake Point’s municipal leaders needed a land use plan that represented the vision that drove their initial incorporation.  The City partnered with Rural Community Consultants to help them shape the future through the development of their initial general plan, annexation policy, and land use regulations. RCC translated the community’s unique vision into a tangible and strategic framework that promotes sustainable growth and preserves Lake Point City’s opportunities. This initiative involved working hand-in-hand with local stakeholders, facilitating difficult conversations with community leaders, and developing creative implementation initiatives.
