Moab Valley Fire Plan + Website (CWPP)

The Moab Valley Fire District has primary jurisdiction over fire response in the Moab City area.  They asked Rural Community consultants to help them put together a Community Wildfire Preparedness Plan that aligned with state requirements and county plans.  The project addressed the unique challenges related to two river corridors with limited access, federal wetlands, increasing property values to protect, and a community with a high level of interest.  A new website for the District was also developed and implemented.
