Nephi General Plan

Rural Community Consultants was asked to help Nephi update a general plan that was nearly 10 years old. Nephi is a community that is seen as a rural destination that is just outside the Wasatch Front and it is being discovered by commuters and young families. An extensive series of public surveys and open house events were programmed into this initiative because one common thread between new and existing residents was the desire to maintain the small town charm people love about the community as it grows. The plan also required a detailed treatment of infrastructure issues because of how many utilities the City provides.
