Rockville Ordinance Revision

Rockville is a community that is doing everything it can to preserve the identity they choose for themselves in the face of strong development pressure to do otherwise. In order to do this, the Town recognized it’s need for ordinances that are based on the general plan’s long-range vision. Rockville wanted policies that will guide growth, preserve rural character, and protect private property rights. They also asked Rural Community Consultants to update their ordinances to comply with state statutory changes – particularly the “plain language” mandate.
