San Juan County General Plan

With tourism increasing in the region, and development growth in the Spanish Valley area, San Juan County needed to prepare for changing land uses. San Juan is a large county with distinct development regions, and each of these areas has unique issues. The strategic priorities for the Spanish Valley region differ greatly from those in Monticello or Blanding.

The county asked Rural Community Consultants to help develop their plan in part because of our local experience and ability to integrate with their Resource Management Plan, but also because of our commitment to reach out to members of the community, business owners, and governmental stakeholders.
