Sterling Town – Plan, Code, and Website

Sterling Town provided the Rural Community Consultants with the unique task of creating a community’s first-ever general plan, administrative code, land use codes, and website. Sterling, located near the gateway to Palisade State Park, was looking for ways to better their small town by searching for the best opportunities for economic development and communal prosperity. Local leaders met regularly with the Consultants to voice opinions and provide the vision for where Sterling should be in the next 5-10 years. With community input, goals and strategies were implemented with the assurance that Sterling would retain the rural small-town atmosphere that the community strives for. The final deliverable was created and produced digitally in order to ensure process transparency.
