Uintah County General Plan / Resource Management Plan

Almost 70% of Uintah County is administered by the Federal or State Government; or in other words, the majority of the County isn’t controlled by the residents that live and work there. The real and potential influence of those lands is one of the highest interests of the County.

The Rural Community Consultants, in partnership with Planning and Development Services, LLC and Jones & DeMille Engineering, was retained by Uintah County to conduct an update of their existing general plan that would also include the significantly expanded scope required by recent changes in Utah law.
