Woodruff Town General Plan

Woodruff Town reached-out to the Rural Community Consultants to provide the town with a General Plan. This small town did not have a current updated plan instead of relying on codes from the county and state to deal with changes they were facing. The population, (only about 200 people), and the primary economy (agriculture) gave our team an opportunity to understand the issues in a truly rural community. Collaborating with Woodruff leaders was a unique opportunity to understand and develop a solid position. The project also involved the creation of the Town’s first website, and guidance from the general plan generated a consensus with residents on their goals and vision for the future of Woodruff.
